Staff Bios - Christian Hidalgo

Owner, Art Director

Christian's passion is to solve visual communication problems with savvy, artistic design solutions. Since a schoolboy, Christian has been recognized by his peers and teachers through numerous academic and design awards. Today, it's a smile on a client's face that is his greatest reward.

Christian grew up in Rutherford County and received his formal visual communications instruction at the Art Institute of Atlanta and the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. Christian also has taught art appreciation, art history and graphic design to high school and college
students.

Christian has spent the last 20+ years providing design, advertising and marketing solutions in a variety of industries such as television news, the carpet industry, the publishing industry and now for retail, non-profit and faith-based organizations.

Christian began Navigation in 1994 after working in the corporate world for several years. Having no formal business education, Christian claims to have made every business mistake possible but credits this "school-of-hard-knocks" education for Navigation's tremendous growth over the last 6-7 years. Knowing the struggles of running a vibrant business gives Christian a unique perspective that benefits his clients, employees
and vendors.

Christian and his lovely wife, Jennifer, live in Murfreesboro and look forward to raising a family in one of the most historic and important counties in the nation—Rutherford County.
